This week we are continuing to review addition mental math strategies. We will begin to assess students on their ability to solve addition number sentences (i.e., 2+4=_____)
We are continuing to learn to solve addition word problems. Please remind your child that they can use numbers, picture and words to help them solve word problems. They must also include a number sentence that describes their pricture (i.e., ____+____+_____= 10).
Please continue to skip count by 2s, 5s, and 10s daily. Daily practice will grow the fluidity needed to skip count efficiently.
